Tim and I are on opposite sides in the Brexit debate – he is in favour of Leave, whereas I voted to Remain. But on this, we are in total agreement. The standard of economic analysis is indeed dismal – both from those who forecast that Brexit will cause economic Armageddon, and those who believe that Brexit will lead to “sunlit uplands”.
